In the fiery summer of 2016, the Battle Born Brawlers erupted onto the scene, carving their name into the asphalt with the WFTDA Ruleset. United with their sister Derby team, Sin City Roller Derby, they blazed a trail of glory and guts in the hot desert air.

Through the twists and turns of fate, our Brawlers have danced with destiny, recruiting warriors on wheels and bidding farewell to those called to serve in the military. Their spirit, as unyielding as the desert sun, has seen them through the rollercoaster journey that is their legacy.

Every June, the air crackles with anticipation as the Battle Born Brawlers clash with the San Diego Aftershocks in a scrimmage that’s become the stuff of legend. This annual showdown is a testament to their undying spirit and the fiery passion that fuels their every move.

When the world paused in the grip of Covid, our heroes in helmets hung up their skates, choosing safety and solidarity over the siren call of the rink. But the silence of the skateless tracks was only the quiet before the comeback storm…

2024 marks the year the Las Vegas Battle Born Brawlers reignited the flame with a vengeance! Exploding back onto the scene, they’ve reformed under the MRDA Organization, donning the mantle of a Nonprofit Amateur Sports League with an undying commitment to the love of the game.

With their No Drama policy and hearts as open as the desert sky, the Brawlers have fostered a fellowship with the entire Vegas skating community, proving that unity and respect are the real MVPs of any sport.
